Every Sunday there is an entire team of people who devote their morning to ensure our first impression of CCC is first-class, comfortable, and is a positive experience. This is the work of the Frontline Team. If you’ve ever had a cup of coffee, followed signs to find the church, or picked up a program, you’ve enjoyed the work of the Frontline Team.

It’s vitally important for us to be able to focus our hearts and minds on God in worship. Through music, videos, slides, lights, and sound, the Worship Arts Team helps create an atmosphere where our attention can be directed to God.

We value children here at CCC. It’s our desire for children, from their earliest days, know God’s love for them and that their memories of church from childhood will be fond ones. From birth through fifth grade, there are children learning about God’s great love and plan for their lives every Sunday because of our Children’s Ministry Team.

In just a couple weeks we will be shifting from two services to three: 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30. What does that mean for these teams of people? It means there is a lot more work to done. This is a great opportunity to jump on one of these teams and serve to help make Sunday mornings an extraordinary experience for people who are trying to Find Their Way Back to God.

If you are interested in joining one of these teams, or in serving in any other areas here at CCC, please contact us at 410-933-8330 or at info@communitycc.net.

When someone comes to check out a church for the first time there are a number of things that make an impression, whether good or bad. You might not be surprised to know that a connection to the main speaker is at the top of the list, but it might surprise you to know a few of the other areas that make huge impressions. For a family, their child’s experience is way up on the list. Adequate parking is also a big factor right along with the cleanliness of the facility. Each and every week new people find their way to Community Christian Church, and we only get one shot at making a good first impression.

That’s why our Frontline Ministry is so vital in creating a welcoming, come as you are atmosphere. It all starts out in the parking lot when someone smiles and waves at you even in the snow or rain. We’re communicating that we’re glad you’re here, and you can expect to have a great church experience. We love to have fun at CCC, and sometimes our parking volunteers get in on the fun by “dressing up”. You never know when you might pull up and see them wearing a cap n gown in May or sitting under a beach umbrella in August. Frontline doesn’t stop in the parking lot. We always have plenty of free fresh hot coffee to enjoy during the service, and sometimes we have cookies or hot dogs just because we can. Frontline does a lot of things you probably see like handing out programs or helping people find a seat, but we also do a lot of behind the scenes things like keeping the facility clean and taking out the trash. Our mission is to help people find their way back to God, and sometimes it’s the little things that can become a speed bump on that journey. So if it’s putting out signs to make it easier to find us, keeping the mints in the bathroom overflowing, or simply saying hello, Frontline helps smooth out some of those potential speed bumps so the road back to God is a little straighter.
