Toy Story 3 is a great movie that tells a great story. What would it look like for our lives to be a great story? After all, none of us want our lives to be a “B-movie.” Last Sunday we used Toy Story 3 as a jumping off point to look at what God has to say about living a life that is a great story. We zoned in on Ephesians 3 and talked about how to get clarity about who we are, clarity about what opposes us, and clarity about our mission.
What steps can you take this week towards being a bigger part of God’s mission of drawing people to himself and fixing brokenness?
What is going to help you gain clarity about who God created you to be and who our opponent is?
CCC at the Movies is rolling on again this Sunday. Come on out for some free popcorn.

Great sermon! I’ve been working to encourage other housebound Christians through the internet and through contributing to a Christian newsletter directed to the chronically ill. This week I’ve made a commitment to spend some time writing each week. Also working on making myself more available to God for Him to repair my own brokenness. I’ve instituted a rule in our house that the children need to remain in their rooms until their alarms go off, so that I can start my day earlier alone with the Lord w/o having them all pour out upon me at the first sign of life in the house.
Time in prayer and studying the Bible, I think, will help me gain clarity about who I was created to be and who the opponent is… on the surface, the latter seems obvious, but you know, certain things of this world have a way of encroaching into our relationship with God w/o us really noticing, don’t they? They can be opponents, too. Thanks for thought provoking questions!
