Community Assistance Network (CAN)
CAN’s mission is to work in partnership with the community to develop, operate, and support programs that reduce vulnerability and promote personal growth, stability, and self-sufficiency among low-income residents of Baltimore County. They offer the following programs for low-income residents: Housing, Emergency Services and Community Connections, Employment Training and Assistance, Youth Services, (after school and childcare services), and Weatherization activities. They operate two overnight shelters for homeless persons and manage the Baltimore County Fuel Fund.
