Community Christian Church exists to help people find their way back to God. No matter where you are, whether you are just starting your journey or have been following God for years, CCC was started to help people draw nearer to God. That is why we exist.
Our dream is to be a church that is attractive, meaningful, and fun for people who are not a part of any church. God longs for everyone to be a part of his family, and his desire is that no one would have to live without knowing His love and grace. That’s the reason Community Christian Church was started, to help people find their way back to God.
So how do we help people find their way back to God? The way we frame it up here at CCC is with (fittingly enough) three C’s: Celebrate, Connect, and Contribute.
Every Sunday morning we gather to worship, honor, and to draw our attention toward God as we Celebrate together. There is live music, relevant teaching, a fun and safe environment for children, and lots of free coffee (though you won’t need the caffeine).
It is impossible to follow God in isolation. We just weren’t made to follow God alone. That’s why it is so important that we Connect in small groups. Small groups of people set aside time each week to meet in each other’s homes to connect more fully with each other and with God.
Here at CCC we also want to be a blessing to our community and to the world. That is why it is so important that we use our talents and resources to Contribute to the world around us. There are many different ways this happens including serving on Sunday morning, volunteering with your small group or family through our non-profit organization Thrive Baltimore, and taking a short term service trip to countries around the world.
We hope that everyone around Community Christian Church will make their way to Starting Point, which is a great way to get started here at CCC and will help you learn more about who we are and where we’re going.
